The Shred Remains.

Filming a team video was something I advocated the day I interviewed for a gig with the SDS. Two movies later and the third on the way, I always thought it was rad to have team movies as that's what skateboarding had done for years. I'm stoked to say that piles of Midwest kids are getting a chance to be in The Shred Remains. We lost a few winter soldiers along the way in this process but the likes of Viktor Simco, Cameron Strand, and Mark Wilson stepped up to put it on the line to film for this project. All these guys had other stuff going too, but piled in a van for months. Marie Hucal is coming off surgery on her shoulder after filming for two project the season before, but also piled in with the doods for months. Also Kevin Castanheira a Midwest grom when I first meet him is also helping put a touch on this film. It has me super excited to see it. I know there are a ton of movies I excited to see, but this really is close to my snowboarding heart. This is why we are behind Rome SDS, it's us, we're inclusive, not exclusive. We are you too.

This Rome SDS conjured event is in it 7th year and brings some early jammin fun to the first and sometimes not first day of the season. Hot to the dog are the shredders who so passionately throw down in travel and tricks to participate the most key element to this Jibulation. Busy Times. So much is going down or has in the last few weeks. I'm behind in sharing it on here. So this will be a long post with tons-o-links. Products hitting doors, big mags first issues are out, big biznasty is calling the shots and forcing out good people. Yep Snow on the ground in a few months and it's pre-pre hype over drive! -Marie Hucal also just got a interview welcoming her to the team. Marie went to the Team Shoot Out so peep her in the edit. Also pop over to the SDS site and read the interview. Solid!

- Familia's Ghost Ride the Whip went down, it was awesome. Benji Meyer made a small edit of some of the highlights. Check it!

-The Youth Shelter Supply's own Dan Brisse has been up at COC, peep his park edit. Also Mr Sexton has been in Canada a ton like it's his country or something. He also has shots in the Stepchild COC week edit.

-Jake Durham's Make Friends Premiered at Cal Surf Friday night. Sounds like he had some Technical Difficulties prior but pulled it. I was luck to make it home in time for a sweet movie filled with friends, fun, shred, randomness, and partying.

-Last years Ladies flick Peep Show debut to great response. Midwest riders Terra Michilot and Marie Hucal brought they're stylings on snow to that project and return for the second flick. Check here for the updates.

-So been a minute, ok a week, Here's Rome SDS session at Windells edit. Looks like the Neff Wall got some play. Snow Bro's I have a questions. Whats with bad style being cool? I don't get it?! (Warning Rant Ahead) Seems like it's all about the trick and not making it have any style right now. Lets get it together brew and start putting down some stylee moves and pack up this silly trick list you got off of Skate 3 or whatever your favorite fantasy skate/snowboard game is.

-Rome SDS won the Team Shoot Out last year, looks like they're in the mix again with a great submission in this years event. Peep the Cameo.

-So I want to post this but with a video already up I'm going to link to it. Peep this Teaser. Gnar Boots. Can-Land is killing it.

-Corduroy Lifers Wolfe and Windh set out a blog trail this week. Check the Minnesota Scandinavian connection. Oh and we're going to Japan!

-So Bball wise it's been a heavy MN Twolves week. Out with Big Al and in with B-easy and some condition 1st rounders. Also Vet point man Luke Rindour. National media is blasting Kahn the Wolves GM. I seem to lean the other way. Lot's of these takes are based on not like the resigning of Darko and they drafting of point guards back to back last year. Also if you listen to this guy talk he talks like he's above everyone (dood was a lawyer of course he does). I'm liking what happening here right now (though I would maybe held on to Big Al to start the season). We Shall see.

Man, I was fine with not going to Hood another year. But, the more I watch the fun the more i want to go. Rome Session at Windells is still coming in video format. You can peep a story right here. Also they say you can't teach a old dog new tricks but what about a old dog teaching a young buck?!

Homie you have Mills and your about to have 100 plus more just sign on the dotted line and go away until the season.
