Midwest Super Runs
This Superpark was great. Crews of heads from MN, Down State MI, WI, and The U.P. shredded in a great posse of ripping runs love. It was something I'll always remember, all these people are great riders and good friends. Smiles were our prizes, and everyone got first at Midwest Superpark this year. Here's some photo's in reverse of two days I was in Marquette MI.

Started with WII and ended with as well, note the character that Jess made me. Spot on!

Spartan Victory, to bad it didn't work out that well in the end. Funny game. Some Drank.

Jamie watching the Green and White. Wings later were prefect.

Cameron Method note the knees. Tucky.

Brandon tails it is.

Mouse ollie, earlier Mouse Back 3 this super buttery, it was dope.

Levi Method great trick, great dood.

Riley's Twolves for life. Check this super blog with tons of great finds on the interweb world, I've been peeping it a bunch.

Forester and roommates put up about 12-14 heads it seemed like. Jake and Tommy nothing but smiles on this fine afternoon.

Pine Knob crew, Dean, Jackson, Marcus, and a Mouse.

Cameron and Erik

Rob and I

Marie always highfives!

Tent Land, the resting place of shred.

Some of the SUPERPARK event.

SAMMWICHES.......

Charlie morning pre-run smiles.

Where it ends it shall begin. Matty thanks for the love.

Local Gnar... Keep The Streak Alive

Calling all Midwest camera holders, lets do this! Two years running a Midwest entry has won 1st place. Lets keep it going!
Get your clips, friends, and edit it down to get the hype up! Here's the the link Romesnowboards.com. Info below-Good Luck!
"As another season is winding down, and the deadline for Local GNAR entries is soon approaching.
Nothing beats spring shred. Warmer weather, softer landings and daily parking lot tailgate good-times means it's time to get out there and get footage of that trick you've been working on all season.
Local GNAR is a contest that celebrates, promotes and publishes these videos from local scenes around the world.
For the third year in a row, Rome wants to check out your Local GNAR video and hook up the best videos with $$, publication and prizes. Get your crew together in the early season and make a video about your perspective on snowboarding. Keeping it to 5 minutes or less, get creative with the editing, include only your best shots, and put it to music. Rome's riders and in-house crew will check out the submissions and vote on the top three videos. As always, the winning videos will be the ones that most make us want to go out and shred in May.
•1st Place: $1,000, two (2) Rome Artifact snowboards, three (3) Rome 390 bindings, twenty (20) GNAR t-shirts
•2nd Place: two (2) Rome Artifact snowboards, three (3) Rome 390 bindings, five (5) pairs of Rome gloves, ten (10) GNAR t-shirts
•3rd Place: three (3) Rome 390 bindings, five (5) pairs of Rome gloves, ten (10) GNAR t-shirts
All entries have to be received by May 1, 2009, so get that last minute footage and get to editing."

Family Fun Lutsen
My homie Tom hit me with a Lutsen trip idea, a ride in and ride out condo and a long weekend of shred with Tom and Kop sounded great to me after a short yet fun trip to Whitefish. Feeling like I hadn't ridden enough this season I needed another strong trip to focus on ripping with homies. No contests no expectations just some riding. We launched toward Spirit on the Thursday morning to meet up with Eric Christopherson and get some runs. It had just ice stormed a day or two before we went up. It provided interesting conditions and features which we would rip all weekend. The riding was fast and the fun factor high.

To Coach From The Team
Coach Forester gets a solid send off for the season from the Team. Sounds like it wasn't a perfect season but it had its moments.
Lusten shots still coming and Superpark weekend on its way as well.
